The band – whose sound blends eerie ambiance, pulsing rhythms, and crystalline vocals into a smooth, haunting alternative rock/punk/plugged-in folk feel – is the collaborative project of Josh Doerksen (vocals, guitar) and Julia Stead (drums); two established musicians prepared to make their mark on the Canadian music scene.
There There Indigo is set to record and release their debut EP in Spring 2013, followed by a Canadian tour.

Ruby Randall – an enchanting songstress with a voice smooth as all hell.
Ruby and her band blend elements of folk, soul and pop – creating infectious hooks with undeniable groove. Signed to Othersongs Music Co. in 2011; she released her debut EP ‘Until the Dust Settles‘ to international acclaim. Netherlands-based music blog, Plug in Baby, named it the number one EP of 2011; saying: “A very special, melancholic voice. The gentle songs she has crafted for her debut-EP are pure and beautiful.” German blog, Der Impuls, wrote: “This EP has an indescribable charm,” and compares Ruby to one her own influences: Cat Power.
The initial recording process for their debut LP is underway, and a video for the single “Don’t Sweat It” is set for release in summer 2013.
